Project Description

scottharrisWhen you hear the call of growling basslines, warm melodies and dark synths, there’s no point resisting. And so, that’s exactly why US producer/DJ Scott Harris headed out for a new adventure, leaving a life-long experience with rock and alternative music behind to start afresh. Following the enrapturing nightlights and endless possibilities of electronic dance music, he dedicated his talent to big room and uplifting house music. Blazing his own trail in the scene, his Scott Harris Regime alias has outgrown the rumors of being an underground roar. Soon, the world will meet him.

To some, the 4-to-4 beat is a natural state of mind. To others, it’s an idea that grows with time, slowly taking over. After years of producing rock music, it was a concert of DJ legend Tiësto that awakened the groove that had steadily become extant in Harris’ mind. Shaken by his new love for all things electronic, he quickly learned the ropes of it all, hooked on blogs, producer websites and anything he could find to feed his passion.

Within less than 3 years, he secured gigs in Orlando and Miami, while signing no less than 5 releases on labels Twisted Plastic Records, Bedroom Records, and Royal One Records. From the early sounds of his ‘Solace’ collab with Vivido to a dancefloor destroying ‘Let’s Go’ and ‘I D’. Following a warm vocal ‘Let Me Go’, the latest studio work of ‘While The World Sleeps’ ft. Bodhi Jones shows that each of his productions have gradually become more and more intriguing and powerful. Exploring the depths and boundaries of big room house and electro, combined with a diverse taste in music has seen Scott Harris Regime bending the genre and making it his own.

From his hometown of Dallas, Texas, this down-to-earth guy stands at the verge of becoming a high-score player in the game of electronic music. Scott Harris loves to surprise his listeners with new material, taking them on a ride into his very own and unique sound. Influenced by the likes of Audien, Porter Robinson, 3LAU, Dzeko & Torres, and Dirty South, and support from Cr2 and Spinnin’ Records, be prepared to meet this rising talent and embrace the open-minded trip he’s going to take you on.
